Dr. Barbara Glensk studierte Ökonometrie und Statistik an der Karol-Adamiecki- Wirtschaftsuniversität in Kattowitz in Polen (1992-1996). Sie arbeitete als wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin am Lehrstuhl für Operations Research an der Karol-Adamiecki- Wirtschaftsuniversität in Kattowitz, Polen (1996-2003). Im Jahr 2002 promovierte sie zum Dr. rer. oec. an der Karol-Adamiecki- Wirtschaftsuniversität in Kattowitz, Polen. Seit 2008 arbeitet sie als Oberassistentin am Institute for Future Energy Consumer Needs and Behavior (FCN), E.ON ERC, RWTH Aachen University. Die Forschungsschwerpunkte von Dr. Glensk sind: Operations Research, Ökonometrie, Optimierung von Stromerzeugungsportfolios, und Energieökonomie.
