Curriculum Vitae

Marius Tillmanns studied Business Administration and Mechanical Engineering at RWTH Aachen University and during semesters abroad at Norges teknisk-naturvitenskapelige universitet (NTNU) in Trondheim and University of Waterloo, Ontario, Canada with a focus on manufacturing technology and corporate development and strategy. In 2016 he earned his bachelor’s degree (B.Sc. RWTH) and in 2020 his master’s degree (M.Sc. RWTH). During his studies, he worked among others as a student assistant at the Institute for General Engineering Design Technology. He conducted his master’s thesis in the field of designing and managing global production networks at the Laboratory for Machine Tools and Production Engineering (WZL). Since June 2021, he has been working as a research associate and doctoral student at the Chair for Energy System Economics (FCN-ESE).
