Curriculum Vitae

Philipp Daun studied Business Administration and Engineering: Electrical Engineering at RWTH Aachen University with a focus on electrical energy engineering and innovation management. In 2018 he earned his bachelor’s degree (B.Sc. RWTH) and in 2021 the master’s degree (M.Sc. RWTH). He conducted his master's thesis at the institute PEM of RWTH Aachen University in the field of investment requirements for electric motor production in early phases of investment planning. After his studies, he first worked as a project engineer in the field of calculation and certification of electric power plants at the FGH Certification Company in Aachen. Since October 2022, he has been working as a research associate and PhD student at the Chair for Energy System Economics (FCN-ESE).
